There is a vibrant technology market along the Front Range, with around 2000 open technology job positions posted in the last month or so. My company alone is planning to hire dozens of new Java developers before the end of the year.

This is the season for Oktoberfest and Harvest Festivals, so there is one nearly every weekend somewhere in Colorado for the next month or so. For more information, visit ColoradoFestival.com.

This is also the season for gorgeous fall colors, which around here mostly consists of Aspen. A great resource for seeing which roads and regions have peak colors can be found at PhotoTravel.com. I took my family up to the Rocky Mountain National Park this past weekend, and we were treated to brilliant Aspens among snow-flocked pines. A few samples of what we saw are in this post.
