I’m working on a piece for O’Reilly about RSS 2.0, and in the process trying to document some best practices. I’m also pondering some anti-pattern ideas, but I’d like to toss out an open invitation for more “bad RSS” examples.

Some of the common ones are:

• RSS that isn’t valid XML
• RSS that doesn’t validate on The Feed Validator
• RSS without full-text content

With the obvious pet-peeves out of the way, what are some things you have encountered in RSS feeds that really irritated you? Let me know!
