RSS Feed for LAN Panic
It’s a slow Friday in Syndicated Feed Land, so I’ll do a shameless plug for a little game I’m cooking up called “LAN Panic!” There is an RSS tie-in here, so this isn’t completely shameless. Just mostly shameless.
LAN Panic! is an online DHTML puzzle game that lets you, the hapless network engineer, unscramble some thoroughly wrecked network configurations. (Fans of the Palm game NetWalk will recognize the gameplay.)

The game is purely browser based (no PHP, JSP, etc.) with a little RESTful magic thrown in. Here’s my favorite part, and why I made the game in the first place: The LAN Panic! Editor lets you cook up and share custom puzzles with your friends. The puzzle configuration is completely encoded into the URL, so there is no need for any type of authentication.
So here comes the inevitable RSS tie-in: The game is still beta-ish, so I have decided that the best way to keep players up-to-date on development and new levels is to provide an RSS feed. The feed will offer up news on new features, bug fixes, and any new levels, whether “official” levels or custom ones submitted by players.
Hope you enjoy it!
