Hurricane RSS Feeds
The U.S. National Weather Service National Hurricane Center is providing updates via RSS for each Tropical Storm and Hurricane that it tracks. This is a great example of how syndicated feed technology can be used to get updates to large numbers of people with minimum fuss.
Items provided in the feed include English and Spanish public advisories, graphics, wind probabilities, strike probabilities, and local (municipal) hurricane statements.
