Bill French of MySmartChannels fame and I have been trading emails of late about how RSS is moving inside the corporate firewall. Our conversations inspired me to seek out some high-profile people in the RSS and Atom arenas to get their thoughts on the business case for feed syndication. Several people readily agreed, so I am pleased to announce a series of articles on this topic:

The first interview, appropriately, is with Bill French himself. Engineers with enough experience under their belts will know Bill as the creator of LapLink and QuickSite. Bill has consulted and lectured around the globe, yet is as personal and friendly as they come. I’m delighted, therefore, to kick off the series with his thoughts on syndication in the enterprise:
