Even in beta it is much better than IE. Faster, like the tabbed browsing and Pop-up blocker...although there are newer and newer programmatic workarounds to the pop-up blockers. I suppose it will be a constant battle. One browser that constantly gets high marks is <a href=http://www.opera.com/>Opera</a>. I downloaded a version over a year ago but I wasn't as excited about it as I was with Firefox. Also, you have to pay to remove ads, etc. Interestingly, there's been some <a href=http://www.pandia.com/sw-2005/06-browser.html>buzz</a> that Google will be creating its own browser, which seems logical. Interestingly, Google has already <a href=http://www.computerworld.com/developmenttopics/development/story/0,10801,99240,00.html?source=x10>hired Firefox's lead developer</a>.
