I recently made the switch to Firefox, and I hope I never have to go back to Ieeeee. I guess I’m not the only one: 25,000,000 downloads in under 100 days. Woot.

I’ve been a Firefox user for over a year now, perhaps even two years. Even in beta it is much better than IE. Faster, like the tabbed browsing and Pop-up blocker…although there are newer and newer programmatic workarounds to the pop-up blockers. I suppose it will be a constant battle.
One browser that constantly gets high marks is Opera. I downloaded a version over a year ago but I wasn’t as excited about it as I was with Firefox. Also, you have to pay to remove ads, etc.
Interestingly, there’s been some buzz that Google will be creating its own browser, which seems logical. Interestingly, Google has already hired Firefox’s lead developer.
